The Sheridan set's showerhead offers two settings--spray and massage--and a self-cleaning design, and its 6-inch showerarm is made of solid brass for durability.Two temperature handles and a separate volume/diverter handle allow you to fine-tune the water flow to your liking. The set includes two extra porcelain handles.
Temperature Control Valve with Anti-Scald Protection
The ceramic mixing valve with stops offers temperature control via an anti-scald pressure balance device that keeps the water temperature within a safe range, complying with code ASSE 1016 requirements. It works by automatically adjusting water temperature fluctuations to incoming water pressure so you can enjoy safe, comfortable water temperature with the right amount of pressure.
The valve also provides a high flow rate--6 gpm of water at 45 psi--for great performance, even in low water pressure areas.
